Buy a One Cup Coffee Maker for $100 and I Will Give You $1,000

Got your attention didn’t it?  In reality, this is about as true a statement as you can make.  Will I give you $1,000 out of my pocket, absolutely not, but what I will do is show you how you are going to get that money by picking out the one cup coffee maker of your choice.

Go to any store you want and check them out.  Don’t be cheap, pick the one you want and don’t worry about the cost because we are going to tell you how to get that money back and more.  You want the fancy one that costs $200 because it has a thermal cup with it, better yet! Spend that cash and get the best of the best!

Now you are walking out of the store with another $200 on your charge card and you want to know where this money is going to come from that we are promising you.  It is going to come from your very own pocket!  That’s right, the sheer fact that you purchased that one-cup-coffee-maker will easily save a die-hard coffee drinker over $1,000 a year.

You love your coffee right?  You love it so much that you spend about $6 a day at Starbucks every morning to have it.  How much coffee can you buy for $6?  If you go there every day for a 5 day work week, you are probably doing the same thing on the weekends.  We will even give you credit for one day, but we know you are sneaking one in every now and again.  That is 6 days a week at $6 a day for $36 a week.

Okay, now go out and buy the best coffee you desire.  Once again, don’t worry about the price because we are going to make it back.  How much is a pound of that coffee?  $25 and you want me to buy it?  Yup, step right up and pay for it with a smile on your face.  Now how many cups of coffee can you make from a one pound bag?  In general, you will get about 45 cups out of a single pound.  Are you starting to get where this is going now?

If you were to buy 6 cups a week at $6 for an entire year, you would be spending $1,872 on your morning brew.  This is of course assuming you are not sneaking out at lunch to grab another one.  If you buy a single cup coffee maker for $200 and then buy the best coffee you can find at $25 a pound, you will have spent a total of $373 a year for your coffee and coffee maker.

How about that!   $1,499 in savings a year by simply making your coffee at home.  I only promised to get you $1,000 and now you have almost $1,500.  Let me know when you get that coffee maker and I will send you my address for the extra money that you saved.  A money order will do just fine!  And don’t forget to say thank you!
