Stop Wasting Money and get a One Cup Coffee Maker

Wasting money?  How can a cup of coffee ever be a waste of money?  You wake up in the morning and your eyes are barely open.  All of a sudden that wonderful aroma seeps up the stairs and penetrates your nostrils.  You are luck a wild cat now sniffing possible prey.  You slowly get up and there it is, black gold, Texas tea, oops wrong show.  How much do you enjoy that morning brew?  How much of that morning brew do you waste?  Solve that issue with a one cup coffee maker.

In case you didn’t pick up on it, the little touch of humor there was a reference to the Beverley Hillbillies Show.  What does that have to do with coffee you ask?  It is because some people make so much coffee in the morning for one cup that it looks like they have hit an oil well!  They make these monstrous pots and then after one cup, walk out the door and leave it sitting there until it turns into sludge.  Sure they tell themselves that they are going to reheat it when they get back home, but who wants to drink coffee that is 8 or 9 hours old?

For some reason, people fall in love with their coffee makers.  They want them Texas Big so their friends will be jealous when they come over for dinner.  The reality of it is that you don’t need them to be that big.  When you have company, sure, but how often can you justify making a full pot of coffee.

Now there are those people that love to drink coffee all day, not that there’s anything wrong with that!  But seriously, wouldn’t you rather have a fresh cup each and every time over a cup that has been sitting in the pot for a half hour or longer.  I cannot remember the last time that I was able to finish a pot before the warming light went off on the pot and it stays on for about 45 minutes after the pot is done!

Now not only are you drinking old coffee, or more than likely throwing it away.  You are also wasting a ton of money.  Coffee is not a cheap item and when you toss it, you are tossing away your hard earned money.  Unless you have an unlimited supply of cash, this is something that you should be concerned about.

Think about how many cups of coffee you waste every day.  Most people will tend to look at it like pouring a glass of water down the drain and say who cares?  Well don’t you pay for the water too?  When you add the two of them up, you can be wasting hundreds, if not thousands of dollars each year.

What can you do with a thousand bucks?  Pay for a vacation?  Make a rent or mortgage payment?  Pay your car insurance for a year?  All you need to do to find that money is get a good one-cup-coffee-maker and by the end of the year, that money can be yours.
